The cousins had an ornament exchange. We drew numbers and you could either keep the gift you got or take someone else's.

The kids got all decked out in their Christmas attire for our Christmas Eve service at church. I think they are the three most beautiful kids in the world and I know I am the luckiest mom in the world to have them in my life.

Pretty Little Josephine
Nathan and his brother, Zach, sang a beautiful Christmas song.
We celebrated the rest of Christmas Eve at Granny and Papoo's house. Annie got a Snow White dress Granny made her.
Our little comedian :-)
We opened presents on Christmas Eve Morning this year with Nathan's family. They were so generous and we got some nice things, but it was just nice to enjoy our family for a few hours. Then, I made a lasagna lunch which was yummy (if I do say so myself).
Grandma and Grandpa made Josie a baby bed for her new baby doll. She loves it. What a nice gift G and G...thank you!
Me and my sis-in-law, Racquel.
We went Christmas shopping the day before Christmas Eve and had Molli watch the kids. It was so much fun! Just the 6 adults running around the mall like teens :-)
My handsome man! God saved the best for me when he gave me Nathan.
What a cute couple! Don't they make ya sick??
The ones who started the whole thing!! We love ya Grandpa and Grandma!!
You are the Poem I dreamed of writing,
the Masterpiece I longed to paint.
You are the Shining Star I reached for
in my ever hopeful quest for life fulfilled.
You are my child.
Now with all things I am blessed.
I have often been told that I light up a room when I enter it. :-)
Nicole and I went to a Christmas Party and it was so much fun! I do not go to just any Ladies' Christmas Party, but at the GLOW Christmas party, all you do is laugh and laugh. It is a blast!! These ladies are insane, but oh so much fun!
Me and good old Saint Nick (i.e. Karen Anderson)
I was so glad Nicole went with me, made it so much more fun!!
We played a dress up game that was so much fun!
I was blessed to be able to have a large family Thanksgiving at my house this year. We had a great time with great food and conversation. Half of us even took a 2 mile walk after dinner. All in all there were 20 people that came over for Thanksgiving and to eat marvelous Honey baked Ham, mashed potatoes, pepper corn, broccoli casserole and stuffing, along with too many desserts to name them all.
Mom took this picture and she wasn't exactly close enough :)
The one who started it all! What was she thinking? Actually, I look forward to seeing my kids grown up with their own families. I hope to be the best grandma the world has ever seen :)
I was in the office on the computer when I heard Josie's hurt cry. Turns out, she pulled a toy down on her eye. I guess it could be worse, but still qualifies as a shiner :) I have already decided this child is gonna be my accident prone child. She has no fear and is into EVERYTHING. She is the most precious 1 year old on earth though.
We have had so much fun having my nephews for a few days. The kids think it is so neat having them here at night when they go to bed and in the morning when they get up. Josie and Gideon have became fast friends. She calls him "titty ta" (not sure why) but it is the same name she uses for our cat, Tammy. He treats her like a little sister. "No Josie, no Josie!" I guess he is practicing for his new baby brother.
I was resting on Thursday afternoon, when I was awakened by Annie's frantic voice that Deacon had eaten something blue and he was throwing up "blue stuff". I was of course thrown into panic mode as i ran to the basement to find out what he had eaten. Come to find out it was Easter Egg Dye he thought was candy (dude, we have a whole bag of candy from Halloween). So, I was relieved to find out it wasn't toxic, but he will be blue for a while :)
Aven came into the world November 10 which just happens to be my birthday. He is by far the best birthday gift I have ever gotten :) He has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome, but we believe God crafted him exactly the way he wanted him to be. We love you Aven!
Nathan completed his first 5k and I completed my first mini marathon (15K or 9.3 miles). Nathan had a great time of 29 minutes and I did rather well with a time of 1 hour 19 minutes. it was quite a brisk run through Mason, but I am so glad I had Nathan there cheering me on the whole time.
Ah! Finally finished. Went home, took a bath and a nap :)
The kids had a great time on Halloween night, going trick or treating!
I was privileged to have Batgirl, Superman and the cutest little elephant you ever did see with me for a night of fun.
Josie had a great time just riding in the wagon and eating snacks. My little girl is quite the eater (let me tell ya).
Josie and her best buddy Lincoln were too cute for the zoo.
Annie and her beau
Spiderman meets Superman - good thing they're friends
All 6 munchkins in one place - this is rare!
Poor Nathan! I always have the bright idea to do pumpkin carving and he always gets to do the work :)
But he is so good at it!
Josie doing her part to help!
I was "chosen" to be Annie's Kindergarten Room Parent. The reason I use the word chosen is because this is a volunteer position and I did not volunteer :) However, I will embrace this and make the best of it. We had their Halloween party today and here I am with my precious bat girl. There was a cute craft, 3 games (ala me), and a healthy snack. I had 2 mom volunteers and over all it was a good time.
Annie's class listens to their teacher, Mrs. Harris, read a story.
