We took this shot after the wedding. Annie was such a cute flower girl.
This shot was taken at the rehearsal dinner. A lot of people say she looks just like me.

After the wedding, we wanted to get a family picture. Josie slept through the whole thing and we couldn't get Josiah to smile. But I still think it turned out nice.
Nathan and I at the wedding... Aren't we cute? I love any opportunity for me and my hubby to get a picture together.
Annie was a flower girl in her Uncle Zach's wedding. She did such an awesome job. I was such a proud mommy.
What a beautiful girl we have!
Nathan decided to have his fun when Josiah fell asleep in the car. I must admit we got quite a laugh out of it at poor Josiah's expense.
Here are 9 of the 15 great grand kids in our family after our huge Easter egg hunt. Needless to say, it can be quite chaotic at times, but we love it!
I absolutely love this picture of the girls. I can tell that they are gonna be best buddies someday.
I like this picture because it shows how different the girls look. They are both so beautiful in their own way.
Josie was a hit at the Easter Egg Hunt we went to. Everyone stopped to see the baby bunny. She is cute enough without the ears but with them, O My!
You know what is fun? Going to a Easter Egg Hunt in 35 degree weather. We had promised the kids a Easter Egg Hunt and so we went to one down the street from our house. It was blistering cold. (See Josie's face?) However, Josie did not cry a bit. Josiah on the other hand, not a big fan of cold weather. After about 30 minutes, the kids both said they wanted to go home. Ah well, there is always next year.
We spent Friday night decorating Easter eggs. We had a lot of fun and the kids did very well with little mess (which I liked). I treasure times like these and I am so glad God has blessed us like he has with these 3 wonderful kids.
We had a lot of fun swimming at the YMCA this past week. The water was warm and the kids are fearless. They like the life jackets because they think they are cool. Josie slept in her seat for about an hour of our swimming, so I was able to enjoy my other kids a little.
This was Josie's first time swimming. She really loved the water and didn't fuss at all. (Even when I had to take Josiah to the bathroom twice and Annie once.) The dressing room can be sooo cold. I am glad she likes water because we practically live in it in the summer.
Yesterday, we had the first 5k Run (3 miles) of the year for my Strides group. It was so fun. We ran downtown across the purple people bridge and across the serpentine wall. I did ok. I finished with a time of 27:45 (that is a pace of 8:57 minute miles). My best time before that was 29:52, so I did a little better and I hope to get even better next time. I didn't feel so well when I woke up and did not eat breakfast; and it turns out I got Annie and Josiah's stomach bug later in the day. Our next run is April 19th and is a 10K (6 miles). I can't wait!
My kids with their favorite toys. Annie loves her barbies (just like mommy) and Josiah is a soccer fanatic. He takes a soccer class at the Y on Mondays and he loves it. I hope to put him on a team when he is 4.
I know some of you are laughing about now, but Annie is becoming such a little sweetheart. She really tries to please me which makes life around here much more pleasant. Even at school, she is doing better. We played barbies today for a while together and had a lot of fun. I am so glad God blessed me with this stong-willed but SMART child.
I snapped this picture of Josiah today and fell in love with it. He is so handsome and sweet to boot. I am so glad to be the mommy of this little guy.
With all the snow we had yesterday, we decided to make a warm, cozy fire and play some family games. First, we had a big game of hide and seek; girls vs. boys. Annie and I had the best hiding place. We hid under a bunch of stuffed animals and not even Nathan could see us. The guys hid in the car in the garage which was against the rules, so we called that "cheating". Next, we played Memory and had a lot of fun with that. Then, baths and warm peanut butter chocolate chip cookies ended our fun and snowy day. I love my life!
We have about 16 inches of snow on the ground right now. It is crazy! The kids love it though. When Annie walks in the snow, it comes up to her waist.
Annie made a mound of snow , so I thought I would snap a picture. She was trying to help Josiah up, but it wasn't working very well.
As we were waiting in the car for the snow sledders (is that a word?), I had to snap this picture of Josie's long lashes. They are so beautiful.
Josiah is not much of a snow boy, but he is gorgeous. We had fun talking and waiting in the car while daddy and Annie sled.
Annie wanted to make a snow angel, so I had to snap this shot. She is a little snow bunny; she really loves the snow.
Annie's little friend, Carson, making his snow angel.
Our friend Brent invited us to go sledding. Josiah lasted about 10 minutes but Annie stayed in for the long haul. We had a great time.
Josie got to be in her exersaucer for the first time. It was a nice day outside, so we let her sit in it outside for a while. I am amazed at how fast she is growing, and I just wish I could freeze time for a while and enjoy my kids longer. Josie started sleeping through the night this week, and we are very excited about that. She is also becoming quite the little gigglebox. We all hate to admit it but we know who her favorite person is. She lights up like a firefly everytime Josiah is anywhere near her.
I just had to snap this shot of my kids during one of our errand runs. We took a break to feed Josie (and promptly put her back in her car seat). This particular day we took a bag full of pennies so when we stopped at one location they could throw them in a fountain that was there. Hey, you gotta keep life interesting for them :)
It truly was a great show. The kids seemed to have a blast, although Annie talked me into $12 cotton candy (that's right, I said $12). My favorite parts were the animals; they were so smart!
Nathan was playing around with our new camera and took some pictures of the girls. I thought this one was cute. Josie is absolutely in love with her big sister.
Josie is growing so fast these days. I must have done something very good to be given a child like this to raise. She is incredible!
