The kids and I love to eat at Frisch's. However, it is not Nathan's favorite place. The kids wanted a pic with Big Boy so here you go!

Josie's Big Sis
One of Annie's favorite things to do is push Josie in the stroller. She pushes her on walks and then just around the cul de sac. Josie likes it and it gives me a break. I just love when Annie or Josiah will walk up and Josie will just start cackling for no reason. She adores her big brother and sister and I am so glad they all have each other to make smile :)
Me and My Twin
I really do not know how anyone can think any different. I am amazed at how much my little Josie looks like me. It is funny because I always joked about how I would keep on having kids until I got one that looked like me. Thank goodness I didn't have to try too long.
I even got a MySpace comment from someone I do not see too often that said "she is your twin" just from a photo she saw. I am so thankful for my baby girl Josephine.
Annie's Graduation
Annie graduated from her preschool. In the Fall, she will be an official Kindergartner. We are very proud of our BIG girl!
Uncle Zach graduates from Seminary!!!
Uncle Zach graduated from Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky. Annie, Nathan and the grandparents got up at 6 am to be there by 9. Annie was tired but they had a really good time!

Mother's Day 2008
What a special Mothers Day it was! We added Josie to our family this year. I am definitely the most blessed woman in the whole wide world to have these 3 beautiful kids. Thank you God for my children!
Josie's Baby Dedication at Journey
We dedicated Josie to Jesus on Mother's Day! What a special time to remember that she is not ours but on loan to care for until God uses her for His purpose someday. Amazing!

Mother's Day Tea
We had a Mother's Day Tea at Annie's school. It was so cute. She made me a present and sang songs to me. She only has 3 days of preschool left and then "Schools out for Summer". Next year, my baby will be a kindergartner!
Annie took this picture of me with the present she made me. It is a tile with her hand print on it.

I Ran the Pig!
Well, I did it! I ran the Flying Pig Half Marathon. My time was 2:04:46 which makes it a pace of 9:28 minute miles. Not too bad for my very first half marathon. It was such a great experience and truly taught me that hard work and dedication pays off in the end. My friend Candie and I got up at 4 am to be at the starting line at 6:30 am. It was about 44 degrees when we started the race but I got warm after about 5 miles. I cannot wait to do it again next year!

Daddy and Me
The kids like when Nathan goes along with us on our excursions because he is just a big kid. He is such an awesome daddy!
An Evening at the Park
Annie started taking "Creative Musical Theater" at the YMCA. She seems to really love it and gets to participate in her first recital in a few weeks. If she follows in her dad's or mom's footsteps, she may do acting for a long time to come. Her only problem is wanting to be the lead part in every production.
Josiah is getting to be a little ham. He poses everytime there is a camera nearby. He really makes us smile with his sweet personality. He gets SO excited about the littlest thing. It is precious!
Family Picnic at the Park
We had our first family picnic at the park! It was so nice to be together as a family for an entire evening with no interruptions. We had a nice picnic dinner with Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. It was yummy (or as Josiah says "Nummy"). Then we played on the swings and playset; and then took a nice long walk on the nature trail. We even saw 2 baby deer and they let us get very close to them before running off. We ended the night at the amphitheater where the children took turns performing for us. It was the nicest night we have had in a long time.

At the Children's Museum
We went to the Children's Museum once again. We had tons of fun and the kids were great (for the most part). Josiah had gotten up early that day and was exhausted, so he was kind of a crab.
Annie's favorite part is the Veterinarian Clinic. She loves playing like she is a Pet Doctor; and they have lots of neat Vet tools to use.
A Cousins Play Date
Call me Crazy! I invited my sister and 4 of her kids and my sister-in-law and her 2 kids over for lunch and play date. So, I had 9 kids in my house. We had lots of fun although it was extremely windy. The kids got along so well and the moms actually got some adult conversation. Imagine that!
How Blessed We Are!
I feel that God has blessed us so much with these 3 precious children. They may have their times of trying every last bit of patience I have, but they are the most wonderful children in the world. Thank you, God, for allowing me to raise these children for you.
