Well, I did it! I ran the Flying Pig Half Marathon. My time was 2:04:46 which makes it a pace of 9:28 minute miles. Not too bad for my very first half marathon. It was such a great experience and truly taught me that hard work and dedication pays off in the end. My friend Candie and I got up at 4 am to be at the starting line at 6:30 am. It was about 44 degrees when we started the race but I got warm after about 5 miles. I cannot wait to do it again next year!

Rachel, Great job blogging. It's only May 5 and you've posted 8-9 times. It's hard keeping up with you!! But, so good to be able to keep up with your life in OH. I miss you guys and look forward to seeing you all in a couple of weeks, if only for a couple of days. Love you, Mom
